The Cheers -This folding electric bicycle was originally called the Izip EzGo, and over the years it has had its share of modifications which have always been positive. These bikes are very portable and easy to fold up for storage and traveling so if you are going on a trip and you are pulling a trailer or recreational vehicle, you can always find an easy place to store it. They have a 250 watt motor built into the rear hub and can give you electric motorized power for at least 18 miles. ( Of course this depends on the terrain and grade of hills you are riding on.) Many people felt that the Via Mezza is a very comfortable ride and appreciate the fact that a foldable electric bike could have so many features.
The Jeers - The $800.00 price tag makes some electric bike enthusiasts balk because the motor is only 250 watts, however it should be noted that this is probably due to the engineering that permits the Via Mezza to be folded.
